Providing internships is a strategic way for companies to scope out top employees. The questions of whether to pay them or not is complicated and depends many different aspects such as the financial state of the company providing the internship and the quality of an intern’s work. In this article, young adults share their recent experiences with unpaid internships and the opportunities they provided them.
