Fannie Mae Decides Against Fee Increase: A Sigh of Relief for Homeowners (external link)

Fannie Mae decided that the fee of .25% for loans will remain the same instead of the increase to .5% that was in discussion. Mortgage lenders and borrowers alike agree that this is the best choice for market at this moment.
