A 4.5% increase in price for NFL tickets this season may punt some fans right out of the stadium. A shaky economy is pushing up seat prices that fans were struggling to pay before the increase. The ticket resale market has exploded; some will pay $404 per seat to see the New Orleans Saints. If conditions don’t improve, some teams’ economic future appears unclear.
