In a state of economic distress Japan has a new prime minister, Shinzo Abe, and he has been teetering with the idea of curtailing the Bank of Japan’s independence.  The Bank of Japan pushed back on Abe’s regulations. These uncertainties in the country have been affecting the world market, and this week the stock market suffered its first three-day losing streak since the general election.
